Terms of Service

Genitive Ink is a print magazine subscription service operated by Aahnix LLC. Each issue is a personalised, perfect-bound print magazine compiled from the newsletter subscriptions you select. Issues are printed to order by our print partner and shipped directly to your address in the United States.

By creating an account or using Genitive Ink, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States to subscribe. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Acceptable use: You may only add newsletters you are personally subscribed to. You may not use Genitive Ink to redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit newsletter content. The service is for personal, non-commercial use only.

Content rights: Newsletter content belongs to its original authors. Genitive Ink does not claim ownership of any newsletter content. We compile content under fair use or with explicit author permission. Full-text reprinting requires author permission granted through our permission system.

Service availability: We provide the service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific delivery timelines, or that every newsletter will be compatible with our formatting pipeline.

Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aahnix LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Modifications: We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.

Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute not subject to arbitration shall be the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, provided that nothing in this clause shall be construed to deprive any consumer of the protection of any non-waivable provision of the law of the state in which the consumer resides.

Severability and limitation: Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement or any user attestation incorporated by reference, nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to exempt Genitive Ink from liability for its own willful misconduct, fraud, or violation of law, consistent with California Civil Code § 1668 and analogous principles of New Hampshire common law. Any provision of this Agreement held unenforceable in whole or in part shall be read down to the maximum enforceable scope, and the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

Subscription & Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed per issue at the rate of your selected plan (monthly, biweekly, or weekly). Pricing is fixed for your plan and does not change based on article count in a given issue.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Issues that have already been sent to print before your cancellation date will still be shipped and charged.

Genitive Ink does not offer partial-period refunds. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access through the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds

Print issues: Because each issue is printed to order and personalised to your newsletter selections, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for issues that have been successfully printed and shipped.

If your issue arrives damaged, with a printing defect, or does not arrive within 21 days of your generation date, contact us at [email protected] and we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

PDF downloads: Digital issue downloads are non-refundable once the file has been generated and made available.

Shipping

We ship to US domestic addresses only. Shipping is handled by our print partner and typically takes 7-14 business days from your generation date. We do not currently support international shipping.
